THE GRANITE HIGHLANDS CLIMATE
Stanthorpe's crisp, frosty mornings, sun filled days
and warm open fires at night are well known and loved during
winter. But more people are discovering the delights of Stanthorpe
all year round. The area is situated approximately 900 metres
above sea level, which ensures a temperate and invigorating
mountain climate. Unlike the coastal areas of Queensland, the
days are pleasant with low humidity right through the summer,
and the beautiful cool evenings are wonderful for sleeping |
